David Mills Plumbing & Rail Services is known for its expertise in the MTM railway network. Our team, led by Scott, our Director, is dedicated to making our clients’ lives easier. Our knowledge goes beyond traditional plumbing; we possess a diverse set of skills covering various aspects of railway infrastructure, encompassing a range of specialised services that we can offer.
Director Scott Mills
After becoming a qualified landscaper Scott decided on a different career path and started his plumbing apprenticeship in 2010 with his father, David, who was the owner of the business.
Initially engaged in maintenance plumbing for various real estate agents as well as the occasional job along the Melbourne rail network, Scott began to pursue his passion for railway plumbing, maintenance, and safe working. In 2019, Scott assumed the role of director, steering the company in a new direction and focusing purely on railway work. After many years working on the railway Scott successfully became a Trackforce protection coordinator 3.2.
In 2020 Scott purchased a dedicated factory fostering expansion and providing an optimal working environment for his team.
Scott is widely known for his unwavering work ethic and has earned a reputation as one of the most skilled maintenance plumbers on the network. His exceptional problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering optimal outcomes set him apart in the industry.
Scott personally oversees all aspects of work, ensuring that every project is completed with the utmost attention to detail, from permits to safe working practices.
Outside of work Scott is a dedicated father and enjoys taking his wife and kids travelling to beachside locations!
